Kosovo is on the verge of war. Four young actors - Kushtrim, Donat, Fatmir, and Lekë - get invited to perform their play, ''The Flying Circus'' (inspired by Monty Python), in a theatre festival in Albania. The road is dangerous, and they have no travel documents to cross the border. Despite the temptation, initially they decide not to go until Fatmir hears that the Python's Michael Palin will be filming in Albania during the festival, and they cannot resist the idea that they might get to meet their idol. The only way to get to Albania is by illegally crossing the border of Montenegro and Albania, which comes with a great risk. This surrealistic black comedy is based on true events.
