BABY ASSASSINS 2 is an odd couple action comedy that stays true to the original's bubblegum flavor and takes gleeful pleasure in putting its quirky characters in unlikely situations. Anchored by spirited and perfectly attuned performances of returning leads Akari Takaishi and Saori Izawa, expect a barrage of good-natured bickering and bonding and the occasional blast of martial arts thrills and JOHN WICK-style gun-fu, all of which is once again spectacularly choreographed under the guidance of industry vet Kensuke Sonomura.
