Winner of Best Adventure Documentary at the Whistler International Film Fest, this stunningly photographed documentary is the story of the coincidental (or was it karmic?) meeting of a Gyalten Rinpoche, a Tibetan lama in the west, and Geoff Browne, a Canadian adventurer who doesn�t know his life is about to change.
The unlikely pair strike a friendship and end up returning to the lama�s village in remote eastern Tibet for an emotional reunion with his master and his family. Gyalten Rinpoche�s arduous journey on foot over 1,000 miles of Himalayan terrain when he first left Tibet for the West is recreated in unforgettable visual style.
Shot in Tibet, China, Nepal and Vancouver, "Call it Karma" also features scenes of H.H. the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala, India.
